Ahmedabad Traffic Police urges people to avoid this road
July 31, 2024
Ahmedabad: The city traffic police has issued an advisory urging residents to avoid using the roads and lanes near the Sarvodaya Commercial Centre on Relief Road due to ongoing repair work on the five-decade-old building. This building is located near Relief Cinema and next to the general post office (GPO).
The 55-year-old building is facing issues with deteriorating plaster that is peeling off and falling onto the road below, posing a risk to the safety of pedestrians and motorists in the area. This has made it essential to remove and restore the plaster on the exterior walls of the building.
Therefore, to minimize potential traffic disruptions and prevent injuries from falling plaster during the day, the restoration work will take place between 10 PM and 5 AM over the course of 8 to 10 days. Residents are advised to take alternative routes during this time. DeshGujarat
