Water storage situation in some major dams in Gujarat on 1st August 2024

Gandhinagar: As the new month of August begins today, here is the data on the water storage situation from some of the dams from across Gujarat at 8 a.m. on the 1st of August. The largest dam in Gujarat, Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam, is 56.14% full. The second largest dam, Ukai, is 61.87% full. Ukai has not been able to reach the rule level of 1st August, which is 101.50 m.

Among the dams that have touched the rule level of 1st August or just below it are Damanganga, Karjan, Hadaf, Jawanpura, Und-1, and Bhadar-2. The situation of storage at Kadana, Dantiwada, Dharoi, etc. important dams can’t be marked as satisfactory. However, the monsoon period of August–SSeptember is yet to set. DeshGujarat
