Gujarat government transfers, appoint 10 IAS officers; here’s the list

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has today announced the transfer of 10 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.

With these transfers and appointments, four districts—Narmada, Sabarkantha, Valsad, and Porbandar—have new collectors, and Bhavnagar has a new municipal commissioner. SK Modi, DDO Gandhinagar, has been appointed as Collector of Narmada-Rajpipla. NN Dave, Collector of Sabarkantha, has been transferred and appointed as Collector of Valsad. S.D. Dhanani, DDO Devbhumi-Dwarka, has been transferred and appointed as Collector of Porbandar. Ratankanvar H. Gadhavicharan has been appointed as Collector of Sabarkantha.

Among the other changes, Shweta Teotia, Collector of Narmada-Rajpipla, has been transferred and appointed as Director (Admin) at Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. KD Lakhani, Collector of Porbandar, has been transferred and appointed as Director of Labour in Gandhinagar.

(1) Dr. (Ms.) Ratankanvar H. Gadhavicharan, IAS (RR:GJ:2009), State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Collector, Sabarkantha-Himmatnagar vice Shri N.N. Dave, IAS transferred.

(2) On his repatriation to the State Cadre, the services of Shri Sujeet Kumar, IAS (RR:GJ:2010) are placed at the disposal of Urban Development & Urban Housing Department for appointment as Municipal Commissioner, Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation, Bhavnagar vice Shri N.V.Upadhyay, IAS transferred.

(3) Ms. Shweta Teotia, IAS (RR:GJ:2011), Collector, Narmada-Rajpipla is transferred and her services are placed at the disposal of Energy & Petrochemicals Department for appointment as Director (Administration), Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd., Vadodara relieving Shri Tejas Parmar, IAS of additional charge of that post.

(4) Shri K.D.Lakhani, IAS (SCS:GJ:2011), Collector, Porbandar is transferred and appointed as Director of Labour, Gandhinagar vice Shri Anupam Anand, IAS already transferred.

(5) Shri S.K.Modi, IAS (SCS:GJ:2012), District Development Officer, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Collector, Narmada-Rajpipla vice Ms. Shweta Teotia, IAS transferred.

(6) Shri N.N.Dave, IAS (SCS:GJ:2012), Collector, Sabarkantha- Himmatnagar is transferred and appointed as Collector, Valsad relieving Smt. A.R.Jha, GAS of additional charge of that post.

(7) Shri S.D.Dhanani, IAS (SCS:GJ:2012), District Development Officer, Devbhumi-Dwarka is transferred and appointed as Collector, Porbandar vice Shri K.D. Lakhani, IAS transferred.

(8) Shri N.V. Upadhyay, IAS (SCS:GJ:2013), Municipal Commissioner, Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation, Bhavnagar is transferred and appointed as Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Gandhinagar relieving Dr. Narander Kumar Meena, IAS of additional charge of that post.

(9) Shri Lalit Narayan Singh Sandu, IAS (RR:GJ:2015), Managing Director, Gujarat State Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Gandhinagar vice Dr. (Ms.) Ratankanvar H. Gadhavicharan, IAS transferred.

Shri Lalit Narayan Singh Sandu, IAS (RR:GJ:2015) would hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Gujarat State Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., Gandhinagar until further orders.

(10) Shri B.J.Patel, IAS (SCS:GJ:2016), Additional Inspector General of Registration, Vadodara Zone, Vadodara is transferred and appointed as District Development Officer, Gandhinagar vice Shri S.K. Modi, IAS transferred.
