IMD forecasts heavy rain in parts of Gujarat over next 48 hours

Banaskantha: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that certain districts in North Gujarat are likely to experience heavy rain over the next two days. However, in general, most districts of the state are expected to witness light to moderate rain over the next seven days, until August 15th.
According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, “Heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of the North Gujarat region, namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, and Mahisagar,” during the next 24 hours.
On August 10th, heavy rains are also expected at isolated places in the districts of the North Gujarat region, including Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, and Mahisagar.
From August 11th to August 15th, light to moderate rain is likely in all districts of Gujarat.
The IMD bulletin also stated that heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in the Vadodara district of the South Gujarat region on Thursday. Additionally, the feeble off-shore trough at mean sea level along the South Gujarat to North Kerala coasts has become less marked. DeshGujarat
