Vadodara city received 3.54 inch rainfall on Thursday evening; tops in daily rainfall data

Vadodara: The city of Vadodara received 90 mm (3.54 inches) rainfall on Thursday. Over 3 inches of rain occured during 6 to 8 pm in the evening, resulting in to knee-deep water logging in Raopura and other areas and also the traffic jam at L&T circle and number of other localities. A new sinkhole occured in Karelibag area of city on the main road. The city topped on Thursday in rainfall data from across Gujarat.
