Amit Shah guids party workers in Naranpura about upcoming membership campaign of BJP
August 18, 2024
Narapuna: Addressing the party workers of Naranpura assembly constituency in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat area, the local Lok Sabha member and union Home Minister Amit Shah today gave a call to make upcoming membership campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) succesful.
Shah said – ‘In upcoming days, soon the party will start its membership campaign. The party president has already announced it. Once there’s membership drive launched, we all need to become party’s member again. In other parties the membership is given for lifetime, but in our party, its validity is just for six years. There’s a purpose behind it. A party worker and the party both can decide on their mutual association after six years.’
Shah further said – ‘not a single booth should be such that is not elected as per our party’s constitution. Not a single booth should be such where women’s membership ratio is less than 50 percent of total. No Dalit locality or Seva vasti(slum) should be such where party has no booth.’
Shah said technology will be used this time for memberships campaign and as per Prime Minister’s insistence, the membership campaign will be done in a way that its data can be analyzed.
‘When meetings will be held in that reference, you will be guided further in this regard,’ Shah said. It is learnt that BJP will kick off its membership campaign across Gujarat from August 21. The campaign will continue for one and half month. DeshGujarat
