AMC’s multilevel parking in Prahlad Nagar likely to open this month

Ahmedabad: The city civic body has approved the tender for renting the newly built multilevel parking facility near Prahladnagar Garden in the northwest zone of the city. With this approval, the vehicle parking facility is likely become operational in next week.

The multilevel parking structure can accommodate up to 174 four-wheelers. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has constructed this 8-storey building, which has parking facilities on the second, third, and fourth floors, while offices and shops are located on the first and fifth to eighth floors.

The upset value of the multilevel parking, as per the tender, was set at around Rs. 6 lakh (Rs. 5,98,995). The winning bidder, Sangam Arts, offered three times the upset value, i.e., Rs. 16.35 lakh.

In the parking facility, on the second, third, and fourth floors, 58 four-wheelers can be parked on each floor, allowing a total of 174 four-wheelers to be accommodated across these three floors. DeshGujarat
