Rajkot: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday submitted an 800-page chargesheet in the disproportionate assets (DA) case against Mansukh Sagathiya, the Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) town planning officer. He is accused of accumulating assets worth Rs 28 crore, which is 1,128% more than his legitimate income of Rs 2.57 crore during his service.
Special Public Prosecutor SK Vora stated, “Most of the 800 documents pertain to properties owned by Sagathiya and his family.”
The investigation into Sagathiya’s assets began after it was revealed that he allowed the TRP Game Zone to operate without building use (BU) permission. This issue came to light following a fire at the gaming zone on May 25, which resulted in 27 deaths. DeshGujarat
