Halt of Vande Bharat at Bharuch; Improved facilities at Sabarmati Station: Demand Gujarat MPs
August 24, 2024
Gandhinagar: Members of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha from Gujarat have called for improved refreshment facilities at Sabarmati station, which serves as an origin point for several trains.
They also urged the railways to relocate trees rather than cut them down. The MPs suggested that if new vendors cannot be assigned to Sabarmati station, existing vendors from Kalupur station should be allowed to set up stalls there.
Bharuch MP Mansukh Vasava requested that the Vande Bharat train include a stop at Bharuch and proposed the construction of a new 25 km line to reduce travel time to Kevadia, as trains currently route through Vadodara. DeshGujarat
