Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has today appointed the 2010 batch India Administrative Service(IAS) officer Anand Patel as Additional Secretary (Budget) in finance department relieving Bhavya Verma of additional charge of the post. Anand Patel was previously the Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot. He was replaced with the new Municipal Commissioner after the tragedy of TRP gamezone fire incident. He was then shifted to General Administration Department. DeshGujarat
