ACB Gujarat nabs one for demanding Hafta from passenger vehicle driver

Sabarkantha: The Anti-Corruption Bureau of Gujarat today nabbed Nazir Hussain, alias Lalo Nashruddin Shaikh, in Himmatnagar in a bribery case involving a sum of Rs. 2000.
The complainant, drives a passenger vehicle between Himmatnagar and Gandhinagar on small fares. The accused demanded a monthly bribe (hafta) of Rs. 2000 in exchange for not approaching the police to stop his (complainant) car and harass the complainant. Unwilling to pay the bribe, the complainant contacted the ACB. Later, in a trap set up, the ACB caught the accused red-handed while accepting the bribe. DeshGujarat
