Samast Kshatriya Shakti Asmita Manch formed; Maharaja Vijayrajsinh Gohil appointed president

Ahmedabad: A convention of Kshatriya community members was held today at Rajput Bhavan in the Gota area of the city. A large number of people from the Kshatriya community gathered from all over Gujarat, including the erstwhile King of Bhavnagar, Vijayrajsinh Gohil, and former Gujarat Chief Minister Shankarsinh Vaghela. During the convention, the formation of the “Samast Kshatriya Shakti Asmita Manch” was announced, and Maharaja Vijayrajsinh Gohil of Bhavnagar was appointed its President at 12:39 pm, considered an auspicious time.

However, Kshatriya leader Padminiba Vala raised a ruckus for not being given a place on the stage. Padminiba questioned why her honor was not upheld. During a photo session on stage with Kshatriya women, she suddenly raised an issue, stating that injustice had also been done during a previous agitation, which created controversy.

Addressing the convention, Maharaja Vijayrajsinh Gohil of Bhavnagar said he had been entrusted with a significant responsibility and that it was not right to compare him with Krishnakumarsinhji. He emphasized that the forum was not meant for politics or debate, but rather for uniting all Kshatriyas of Gujarat. He spoke of the need for quality education for the sons and daughters of the community and for progress in trade and business. He expressed hope that another Krishnakumarsinhji or Bhagwatsinhji would emerge in the future.

Shankarsinh Vaghela said, “I would like to thank Maharaja Vijayrajsinh of Bhavnagar for becoming the president. I also congratulate Riddhirajsinh of Danta for becoming the acting president. Leaders of the Kathi Rajput, Kardia Rajput Samaj, and Thakor Samaj have been given the responsibility as Vice Presidents, and I congratulate them all.”

During the convention, a resolution was also passed to advocate for the Bharat Ratna (India’s highest civilian honor) for Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji of Bhavnagar. The Kshatriya community will decide its next steps if this honor is not awarded to Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji. DeshGujarat
