Rajkot: A police complaint has been lodged against Zeel Joshi, an actress from Ahmedabad, for breaching a public notification that prohibits video recording and taking selfies near water bodies in the Kodinar taluka of Gir Somnath. The complaint arises from a reel that Joshi filmed at Jamjir waterfall, which received considerable attention on Instagram.
Head constable Harendrasinh Gohil filed the complaint, noting that Joshi posted a video on her Instagram account, violating the notification issued by the Gir Somnath district magistrate. According to the complaint, Joshi’s video showed her sitting on a chair about five meters from the Jamjir waterfall. Investigations revealed that the footage was recorded near Jamwala in Gir Somnath and was uploaded online approximately a month ago, in direct violation of the public notice. DeshGujarat
