One nabbed in Rajkot for circulating child pornography

Rajkot: The city cybercrime police have arrested one Sohail Sheikh for downloading and circulating banned child pornographic videos.

Acting on a tip from the Gandhinagar Cybercrime unit that two banned child pornographic videos were being circulated from specific mobile numbers, Rajkot Cybercrime Police identified the user of one of the mobile numbers as Sohail Fatah Sheikh (20), a resident of Sukhsagarnagar, Bhagatipara. The police summoned Sohail to the police station. During interrogation, Sohail initially denied possession of child pornography, but the police found two such videos on the device. One video showed a young child interacting inappropriately with a woman, while another depicted a child engaging in sexually explicit acts with a sex toy.

The police seized his mobile phone and sent it for Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) analysis, registered a case, and arrested the accused. DeshGujarat
