Light rainfall impacts Navratri Garba celebrations at Vadodara, Bardoli, other places in Central and South Gujarat

Vadodara: Light rainfall impacted the Navratri Garba celebrations at several places in the Central and South Gujarat regions on Wednesday, 9th October evening.
Gujarat’s cultural capital, Vadodara, which is known for its authentic Navratri celebration, also witnessed light rain during Garba. Many people could be seen leaving the Garba ground, while many others continued to play Garba, as the rainfall was bearable and very light. Some people could be seen joining the Garba grounds with umbrellas in hand.
Many other locations in Central and South Gujarat received rainfall, which impacted Garba celebrations. For example, Bardoli town in South Gujarat received moderate rainfall, following which the Garba celebrations in the open grounds were cancelled. Dabhoi in Central Gujarat also received rainfall.
