AMC to set up knowledge hub in Jodhpur area of city

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) plans to establish a Knowledge Hub, or Smart Library, in Jodhpur area of the city to encourage reading among the younger generation.
This state-of-the-art library, to be constructed near the Starbucks Junction on 100 Feet Anand Nagar Road, will include dedicated reading spaces for men and women, lecture rooms, and an array of facilities designed for competitive exam preparation.
The hub, budgeted at Rs. 10 crores and covering approximately 1,634 square meters, is set to break ground in January next year with completion targeted for 2026. To be built on a public-private partnership (PPP) model, the smart library will feature amenities like a competitive exam room, an online content room, and a special lecture room for GPSC aspirants.
