Gujarat Govt transfers 26 Taluka Development Officers (TDOs)

Gandhinagar: The Panchayat, Rural Housing, and Rural Development Department of the Gujarat government today announced the transfer of 26 Taluka Development Officers (TDOs) as part of an administrative reshuffle. The officers, serving in various districts under the Gujarat Development Service, Class-2 category, have been reassigned to new postings with immediate effect.
The reshuffle comes at a time when the state is actively working on the special revision of the voter list for 2025. Among the transferred officers, those serving as Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AERO) will continue their responsibilities related to the voter list revision until the disposal of claims and objections.
