Minimum temperature continues to rise in Gujarat; Ahmedabad at 17.8°C, Vadodara nears 20°C

Gandhinagar: Gujarat experienced a notable rise in minimum temperatures since yesterday, as reported by the India Meteorological Department at 0830 IST. Cities across the state recorded varying increases, with some areas showing significant deviations from normal temperatures.
Ahmedabad registered a minimum temperature of 17.8°C, a sharp rise of 4.8°C above normal levels and a 0.2°C increase in the past 24 hours. Baroda saw the highest deviation from normal at 6.4°C, with a recorded minimum of 19.8°C.
Surat, being a coastal city, recorded 20.2°C, while Rajkot remained the coldest among these top four cities in the state with 12.4°C. Naliya was the coldest region across the state, recording a minimum temperature of 7.9°C.
Morning relative humidity (RH) ranged from 64% in Okha to 87% in Naliya and Rajkot, while evening RH values were lower across all stations. DeshGujarat
