Inauguration plaque removed from Vadodara city BJP headquarters

Vadodara: A plaque of inauguration at the newly opened Vadodara city BJP headquarters was removed due to controversy. State BJP chief CR Patil inaugurated the office on Sunday, 22nd December, in the Kaelibag area. The plaque for the inauguration mentioned the names of CR Patil, CM Bhupendra Patel, Minister Harsh Sanghavi, and city BJP chief Dr. Vijay Shah. However, the plaque had no mention of the names of the local Member of Parliament and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). It is believed that the issue was raised by those upset with the absence of their names on the plaque. Subsequently, the plaque was removed. The city party headquarters is also being discussed about for its inauguration during the Kamurta period (an inauspicious period to start something new). DeshGujarat
