Western Railway to implement Revised Train Timetable for Ahmedabad Division from January 1, 2025
December 28, 2024
Ahmedabad : A new timetable will be implemented on the Ahmedabad Division of Western Railway starting January 1, 2025. Under this, the speed of some trains will be increased, allowing them to reach their destinations earlier than their current scheduled times.
The speed of 95 trains passing through the Ahmedabad Division has been increased, reducing the travel time of 48 trains by 5 to 65 minutes. As a result of these speed enhancements, the operating time of passenger trains has decreased. This will benefit passengers by saving them time in reaching their destinations.
Additionally, the schedules of 262 trains have been adjusted to arrive earlier at various stations on the Ahmedabad Division, with arrival times advanced by 5 to 45 minutes. Similarly, the schedules of 55 trains have been delayed, with arrival times pushed back by 5 to 40 minutes compared to their earlier timings.
Changes in timings will also affect several stations, including Ahmedabad, Sabarmati, Maninagar, Mehsana, Palanpur, Patan, Bhildi, Unjha, Sidhpur, Gandhinagar, Kalol, Viramgam, Gandhidham, Himmatnagar, Halvad, Dhrangadhra, Samakhiali, and Bhuj. Trains at these stations will now depart either earlier or later than their current scheduled times.
