Gujarat govt promotes 12 IPS officers

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government, via a notification dated 31st December 2024, promoted 12 senior IPS (Indian Police Service) officers.

Here is the list of IPS officers who have been promoted:

(1) Dr. (Ms.) Neeraja Gotru, IPS (GJ:1993), Additional Director General of Police, Police Recruitment Board, Gandhinagar is promoted to Director General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 16 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 2,05,400-2,24,400 and appointed on the ex- cadre post of Director General of Police, Police Recruitment Board, Gandhinagar by upgrading the ex-cadre post of Additional Director General of Police, Police Recruitment Board, Gandhinagar to the ex-cadre post of Director General of Police, Police Recruitment Board, Gandhinagar.

(2) Nipuna M. Torawane, IPS (GJ:2000), Secretary (Home), Home Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is promoted to Additional Director General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 15 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 1,82,200-2,24,100 and appointed on the ex-cadre post of Principal Secretary (Home), Home Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar by upgrading the ex-cadre post of Secretary (Home), Home Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar to the ex-cadre post of Principal Secretary (Home), Home Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.

(3)  Hiteshkumar Hansraj Joysar, IPS (GJ:2011), Superintendent of Police, Surat Rural is promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 13-A in Pay Matrix of Rs. 1,31,100-2,16,600 and appointed on the ex-cadre post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Surat Rural by upgrading the cadre post of Superintendent of Police, Surat Rural to the ex-cadre post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Surat Rural.

(4) Dr. Tarun Duggal, IPS (GJ:2011), Superintendent of Police, Mehsana is promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 13-A in Pay Matrix of Rs. 1,31,100-2,16,600 and appointed on the ex-cadre post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mehsana by upgrading the cadre post of Superintendent of Police, Mehsana to the ex-cadre post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mehsana.
