AMC demolishes illegal construction of Rakhial ruckus case accused Abdul Karim
January 02, 2025
Ahmedabad: The city civic body today demolished the illegal construction of notorious history-sheeter and criminal Abdul Karim. The accused, who has been involved in over 15 cases, was also booked for brandishing weapons and creating a ruckus on December 18 in the Rakhiyal and Bapunagar areas of the city.
The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) carried out the demolition with heavy police presence. “A video had gone viral on December 18, in which miscreants were misbehaving with the police. Following this, a complaint was filed, and this house belongs to one of the accused involved in the case. Even though the land is private property, the construction on it is illegal as it was done without an approved plan. As per GDCR guidelines and AMC rules, notices were issued, and time was given. Today, the demolition of the illegal construction was carried out,” said an AMC official present at the location.
The authorities also severed the electricity and gas connections ahead of the demolition to avoid any accidents. DeshGujarat
