District Collectors given charge as administrators of newly formed 9 Municipal Corporations

Gandhinagar: The State Cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel yesterday approved the formation of nine new Municipal Corporations in the state.
The new Municipal Corporations will replace the existing wing of these Municipalities with immediate effect and the concerned District Collectors will now perform the duties as Administrators of these Municipal Corporations.
The District Collectors of Mehsana, Navsari, Nadiad (Kheda), Vapi (Valsad), Anand, Surendranagar, Porbandar, Morbi, Gandhidham (Kutch) will take (additional) charge as the administrators of these Municipal Corporations. DeshGujarat
