Surat: In order to ease the traffic issue just outside the Surat railway station, the Surat Municipal Corporation(SMC) is in process to shift its bus-stand to Unapani road.

The movement of large number of city buses operated by SMC at its bus-station near the railway station, create traffic issues. In a recently held meeting on the subject of traffic problem in the city, one of things proposed was solution of this issue.

The SMC has now started working for shifting of bus-stand to Unapani road based 4,000 square meter land of district panchayat where a new bus-stand will come up and buses will be parked. SMC has started building infrastructure on an open plot here. DeshGujarat
