Foundation stone of Rs. 300 crore Vishwa Anjana Dham to be laid on Jan 5 in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: The foundation stone for Vishwa Anjana Dham will be laid on Sunday in the state capital. The foundation stone-laying ceremony, along with the honoring of the donors of Chowdhary Samaj who have pledged more than Rs. 200 crore to date, will take place on Sunday morning in the presence of Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
Manilal Choudhary, the main donor and president of Anjana Dham, along with General Secretary Amit Choudhary, announced that the world-class ‘Anjana Dham’ is being developed on over 22,000 square meters in Jamiyatpura, Gandhinagar. This modern, multipurpose center is set to be built at an estimated cost of Rs. 300 crores.
The facility, which will have 13 floors, will offer classrooms for UPSC/GPSC and other competitive exams, vocational training programs, hostels for boys and girls, an NRI and Senior Citizen Bhavan, a grand auditorium, a community hall, an office, a healthcare unit, a de-addiction center, sports grounds, and modern amenities such as a yoga and fitness center.
The total construction area of the Anjana Dham Bhawan will span 4.5 lakh square feet. The center will house three libraries with a capacity of 650 students, a modern dining hall with an associated kitchen, four classrooms accommodating 200 students each, and six classrooms for 60 students each. A computer lab with a capacity of 250 students and a modern dormitory for 2,300 students will also be provided.
Additionally, the facility will feature indoor sports facilities, a 10,000 square-foot multipurpose hall, a reception area, a boardroom, conference rooms, an amphitheater, and a solar rooftop. DeshGujarat
