Gujarat sees an increase of 3.95 lakh eligible voters

Gandhinagar: The number of eligible voters in Gujarat has increased by 3,95,819, announced the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Monday. The rise is attributed to two rounds of electoral roll upgrades between August and November 2024.
As of January 1, 2025, the updated voter list includes 1,72,776 males, 2,23,023 females, and 20 third-gender voters, the CEO’s office stated. The total number of eligible voters in the 2024 Gujarat Lok Sabha elections stood at 4.92 crore. The final voter list, published on January 6, 2025, recorded a total of 5.03 crore voters, including 2.58 crore males, 2.44 crore females, and 1,569 third-gender individuals. DeshGujarat
