Motera – Gandhinagar Metro Service to be Suspended on January 9

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Ltd today announced a temporary suspension of services on the Motera Stadium to Gandhinagar section of the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar metro rail service on January 9, 2025.
The official press release of GMRCL states, “In view of inspection of Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) on 9th January 2025 from Motera Stadium to Sector-1 and from GNLU to Gift City metro stations of Phase-II Corridor, the Metro train services shall remain suspended from Motera Stadium to Gandhinagar section between 10:40 hrs to 16:00 hrs.”
Last train departure on 9th Morning from Sector-1 to Motera Stadium will be at 10:00 hrs and from GNLU to Gift City will be at 09:45 hrs during morning hours.
From 16:00 Hrs onwards on 9th January, metro train services will be available from Motera Stadium to Sector-1 and from GNLU to Gift City as per existing timetable. DeshGujarat
