Ahmedabad: A team from the Chief District Health Officer (CDHO) in Ahmedabad shut down a clinic operated by a BHMS practitioner in Moraiya, near Changodar.
Dr. Shailesh Parmar, CDHO Ahmedabad, explained that the action was taken following reports of “mixopathy,” where a doctor from one medical discipline was practicing another.
It was revealed that Dr. Chirag Agrawal was running a clinic named “Agrawal Clinic” near the Moraiya Railway Crossing in Changodar. Despite holding a homeopathy (BHMS) degree, Dr. Agrawal was practicing allopathy, thereby compromising people’s health. Based on this information, an inspection was conducted at the clinic, where a large quantity of allopathic medicines was found. As a result, legal action has been initiated against Dr. Agrawal, and a complaint has been filed at the Changodar police station. DeshGujarat
