Full copies of final orders by charity offices to be sent to concerned parties: Gujarat govt

Gandhinagar: In a move to enhance transparency in the administration of charities, complete copies of final orders issued in judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings under Section 8 of the Gujarat Public Trust Act, 1950, will now be provided free of cost to the concerned parties. These copies will also be sent to the parties via registered post (A.D.), the Gujarat government announced today.

Providing further details, Law Minister Rushikesh Patel stated, “until now, only summary copies of orders were sent. However, in line with current legal requirements, complete orders will now be sent via registered post (A.D.) free of charge. This rule has been implemented with immediate effect.”

The initiative aims to bring transparency to the charity administration system and ensure easy access to justice for the concerned parties. Patel added that this measure will strengthen citizens’ trust in the legal process by providing complete information about their cases.

Furthermore, charity officers have been instructed to include information about this system in their orders without fail. DeshGujarat
