Vadodara Marathon 2025 on February 2nd

Vadodara: The city of Vadodara is gearing up to host the Vadodara International Marathon on the first Sunday of February. The 12th edition of the marathon, themed around sustainability, will emphasize Prime Minister Modi’s Fit India campaign. The organizers also aim to raise awareness about Sustainable Development Goals among one lakh school children.
Certified by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races, the Vadodara Marathon is one of the largest in Asia, attracting participants from 10 countries. Registrations have already reached 90,000 and are expected to exceed one lakh.
Runners can participate in various categories, including the 42.195 km full marathon, 21.098 km half marathon, 10 km quarter marathon, 5 km time run, 5 km cleanliness run, and 1 km Paralympic run for the differently-abled. The organizers are inviting Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to flag off the marathon. DeshGujarat
