Minimum temperatures rise in parts of Gujarat; Ahmedabad, Vadodara above 16°C, Surat warmest at 20.2°C

Ahmedabad: Most parts of Gujarat are experiencing slight relief from the cold as minimum temperatures have risen across the state. Ahmedabad, which has been experiencing cold winds since last night, recorded a minimum temperature of 16°C, while Vadodara was slightly warmer at 16.2°C.

The state capital, Gandhinagar, also reported a rise in minimum temperature, with the mercury recorded at 15.5°C. Naliya remained the coldest city in the state, at 8.6°C. In Rajkot, temperatures climbed to 12.4°C last night, bringing much-needed relief to locals, as the city had been experiencing sub-10°C temperatures for several days.

Surat was the warmest city, with a minimum temperature of 20.2°C, closely followed by Okha at 19.3°C, attributed to their coastal locations. DeshGujarat
