Surat company crafts diamond in shape of Donald Trump’s face

Surat: A Surat-based company has crafted a lab-grown diamond in the shape of US President Donald Trump’s face. Greenlab Diamonds created this 4.30-carat lab-grown diamond to resemble Trump’s face. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had gifted a ring manufactured by the same company to Dr. Jill Biden, wife of outgoing President Joe Biden, during Modi’s visit to the United States in 2024.

The creation of this unique diamond took two months, involving the processes of growing, planning, cutting, and polishing. According to the diamond company, the diamond has been crafted as a symbol of India-US relations.

Smit Patel, the diamond industrialist responsible for the creation, shared, “Our artisans in Surat have produced a unique lab-grown diamond replica of Donald Trump. Unlike natural diamonds, which are mined and then processed here, lab-grown diamonds are made entirely in a controlled lab environment. These diamonds are of the same quality and value as those mined from the earth, undergoing rigorous high-pressure synthesis and expert cutting.”

The intricate process of crafting this diamond replica took 60 days. Patel explained, “This D-color diamond, known for its exceptional clarity and brilliance, required careful planning and expertise. The raw material took 40 days to prepare, and the entire growing and cutting process took another 60 days.”
