Black Magic act to be effective across Gujarat from 26 January 2025

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has decided to implement the Gujarat Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act, 2024 with effect from 26 January 2025.
A related notification issued by Under Secretary Amit Raval – ‘In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Gujarat Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act, 2024 (Guj. 8 of 2024) (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), the Government of Gujarat hereby appoints the 26th January, 2025 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.’ DeshGujarat
