AMC to build Rs. 22.47 crore bridge over Khari River
January 27, 2025
Ahmedabad: The Road and Building Committee of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Friday approved a proposal to build a three-lane bridge over the Khari River. The minor bridge will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.47 crores, spanning the river between Vivekanandnagar and Hathijan village.
Currently, a causeway bridge is used for traffic movement, but due to its low height, the bridge needs to be shut during the monsoon. This has led to local demands for a new bridge, and now, those demands have been met as AMC has approved the new bridge construction. DeshGujarat
