Rajkot Civic Body Seals 10 Awas Yojana Flats Rented Out Illegally

Rajkot: The Rajkot Municipal Corporation today sealed 10 flats built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana after they were found to be rented out to others instead of being lived in by the beneficiaries.

The 10 flats, part of three different housing schemes, have been sealed by the civic body. These schemes include Lokmanya Tilak Township, Udhamsingh Township, and Lakshman Township. The beneficiaries had received flats under the economic housing scheme and rented them out to others.
