BJP gets thumping victory in AMC Ghatlodia by-election in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: The ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) received a thumping victory in the Ghatlodia ward by-election of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). The party’s candidate, Pravin Ambalal Patel, received 22,353 votes out of a total of 24,621, while the candidates from Congress and other parties lost their deposits. It is noteworthy that the Ghatlodia assembly constituency is represented by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. DeshGujarat
