Rs. 210 crore allocated for development & expansion of airports in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government, in collaboration with the Government of India, will carry out the expansion of airports at Surat, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, and Porbandar, along with the development of a greenfield airport at Dahod, State Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai said today.
The Finance Minister of Gujarat today presented the state budget of Rs. 3.7 lakh crores for the fiscal year 2025-26. Presenting the budget in the state assembly, Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai said, “In the aviation sector, provision of ₹ 210 crore for the development of new greenfield airport at Dahod and expansion of existing airports at Porbandar, Bhavnagar, Surat and Vadodara.” DeshGujarat
