IMD forecasts hot and humid conditions in coastal Gujarat during March 22-24

Ahmedabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its daily weather forecast, has issued a warning about hot and humid conditions likely to prevail in the coastal regions of Gujarat later this week, from March 22 to March 24.
There is no major rise in temperature expected in the next two days, according to the IMD forecast. However, a rise of 2-3°C is likely afterward.
The forecast states:
– No significant change in maximum temperatures during the next 48 hours, followed by a rise of 2-3°C over the region.
– No significant change in minimum temperatures during the next 24 hours, followed by a rise of 2-3°C over the region.
– Discomfort due to hot and humid air is very likely to prevail over the coastal areas of South Gujarat and Saurashtra-Kutch from March 22 to March 24 (Day 3, 4, and 5).
As per the synoptic situation, westerly to north-westerly winds are prevailing at lower levels over the region. DeshGujarat
