Water supply in Bopal-Ghuma to shift from AUDA to AMC
March 24, 2025
Ahmedabad: Water supply in the Bopal-Ghuma areas of the city will soon be overseen by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC). The decision to take over water supply, previously managed by the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA), comes as these areas have now been brought under AMC’s jurisdiction.
As part of this transition, AMC will oversee tasks such as regulating water release from tanks. It has also sought a detailed report from AUDA on the number of water tanks and connections in the area, which has been submitted to the municipal commissioner for review. DeshGujarat
