Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced a temporary shutdown of the Jaspur Water Works on June 9, 2025, due to essential technical maintenance. As a result, the water supply will be affected in some parts of the city.

In an official note, the city civic body stated, “The public is hereby informed that due to technical reasons, a shutdown has been scheduled at Jaspur Water Works from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on June 9, 2025. Therefore, on June 10, 2025, the morning water supply in the North-West Zone, South-West Zone, and parts of the West Zone of Ahmedabad city will be provided as per the available quantity of water.
