Iskcon to Pakwan Crossroads Stretch of SG Highway to Become Dust-Free Corridor
June 06, 2025
Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced its plan to create a green, dust-free corridor between Iskcon Junction and Pakwan Junction, with an estimated budget of ₹6 crore, aimed at strengthening the city’s environmental infrastructure.
The proposed corridor will feature landscaping, tree plantation, aesthetic lighting, garden development, and a dedicated morning walk track — designed to offer a recreational and environment-friendly space for citizens.
During a Standing Committee meeting on Thursday, Chairman Devang Dani shared further sustainable development plans, including the installation of two public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Naranpura. Each station will accommodate the simultaneous charging of two cars and two scooters. As per details, a full car charge will take around 45 to 60 minutes, while scooters will require 1.5 to 2 hours. — DeshGujarat
