24 hours rainfall data from across Gujarat; Four places witness extremely heavy rain

Gandhinagar: 198 talukas of Gujarat received rainfall in 24 hours period ending Monday 6 am. Among them extremely heavy rainfall (above 8 inches) was witnessed in Nadiad, Daskroi, Mahemdavad and Matar – all in Central Gujarat region of Gujarat. Nadiad had 10.43 inch rainfall in 24 hours, while Daskroi had 10.35, Mahemdavad had 9.37 and Matar had 8.03 inch rainfall in this period.
