Gujarat Police invokes GujCTOC against notorious ‘Tisri Gali’ gang members
August 02, 2025
Navsari: The local police have invoked the Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organised Crimes Act (GujCTOC) against seven members of the infamous ‘Tisri Gali’ gang from Bilimora town.
The gang is notorious for its brutal tactics, notably breaking the legs of anyone who dared to file complaints against them. In 2021, they also killed a member of the rival Antaliya gang. A series of anonymous complaints from residents across Navsari district prompted police to take tough action under the stringent GujCTOC law.
Following the move, police arrested six out of the seven accused. Those in custody include gang leader Amin Shaikh, along with Ronak Patel alias Bobdo, Kevin Patel, Manoj Patil, Gaurav Chotaliya, and Maaz Shaikh. The seventh accused, Sabir Ansari, remains on the run but is likely to be caught soon.
As per the police, the gang that operated out of the third lane near Bilimora railway station has been involved in 42 serious criminal cases officially registered with Navsari police since 2017. DeshGujarat
