Sanand: In a significant boost to the logistics sector, high-speed cargo services have been launched on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), drastically reducing transit times for freight trains. Trains running between New Rewari in Haryana and New Sanand in Gujarat now complete the journey in just 11 hours, down from the earlier duration of 15 to 16 hours.
According to official sources, around 12 to 14 freight trains are being operated daily on this route, significantly benefiting industrialists. The improved turnaround time ensures that goods are reaching industries faster, enhancing supply chain efficiency and reducing costs. DeshGujarat
