Union Minister Amit Shah to Attend Series of Events in Gujarat on Monday

Surat/Rajkot: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is set for a busy schedule in Gujarat on Monday, September 22, 2025, with a series of public programs planned across Surat, Rajkot, and Ahmedabad. The day will include religious ceremonies, cooperative sector meetings, and attendance at several Navratri festivities.
Morning in Surat: Religious Ceremonies and Felicitations
Shah will begin his day in Surat. At 10:15 AM, he is scheduled to attend the Bhoomi Pujan (ground-breaking ceremony) for the ISKCON Mandir at Varachha, Ring Road Canal. This will be followed at 10:30 AM by a felicitation ceremony for donors, organized by the temple management at a nearby venue.
Afternoon in Rajkot: Focus on Cooperative Sector
In the afternoon, the minister will travel to Rajkot for key cooperative events. At 2:00 PM, he will unveil the statues of former RDC Bank Chairman Vallabhbhai Patel and Shri Vithalbhai Radadiya at the Rajkot District Co-operative Bank on Kasturba Road.
Shortly after, at 2:15 PM, he will attend the Annual General Meeting of seven government cooperative unions and participate in the Sahakari Mahasammelan (cooperative mega-conference) at the Racecourse Ground.
Evening in Ahmedabad: Navratri Celebrations
Mr. Shah will conclude his day in Ahmedabad with three Navratri Raas-Garba Mahotsavs:
