AMTS announces diversions on these routes for Filmfare Awards event in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) has announced traffic diversions and route changes in view of the 70th Filmfare Awards 2025, scheduled to be held on October 11 at Eka Club, Kankaria.

According to an official order issued on October 10, 2025, bus services on several key routes will be diverted from 12:00 noon until the completion of the event.

1 16, 17, 128 From Raipur Crossroads — turn right at Parsi Agiyari to Vyayam Vidyalaya From Sarangpur to S.T., Bhulabhai Park, Shah Alam Darwaja — turn left towards Bhairavnath, then via Jawahar Chowk — turn left at Krishnabaug Crossroads to rejoin the original route.
2 32, 42, 72 From Raipur Crossroads — turn right at Parsi Agiyari to Vyayam Vidyalaya From Lal Darwaja to S.T., Bhulabhai Park, Shah Alam Darwaja — turn left towards Bhairavnath, then via Jawahar Chowk — turn left at Krishnabaug Crossroads to rejoin the original route.
3 151, 151/3, 151/4, 152, 152 Sh., 152/1  From Raipur Crossroads — turn right at Parsi Agiyari to Vyayam Vidyalaya From Lal Darwaja to S.T., Bhulabhai Park, Shah Alam Darwaja — turn left at Bhairavnath, then right before Mallatnagar, turn left near Hirabhai Tower, via Aavkar Hall to Hatkeshwar Crossroads, and then to the original route.
4 13/1, 14/1, 52/2, 74, 75, 40/1, 160 From Shah Alam Tollnaka to Pushpakunj From Lal Darwaja to S.T., Bhulabhai Park, Shah Alam Darwaja — turn left towards Bhairavnath, then via Jawahar Chowk — turn left at Krishnabaug Crossroads to rejoin the original route. Route No. 74 will proceed from Bhairavnath to its original route.
5 109, 107, 142, 142 Sh., 144, 144/1 Up to New Cloth Market Crossroads, Vanijya Bhavan, Anuvrat Circle From Sarangpur to Panchkuva, Kalupur Circle, Kalupur Bridge — via Srinagar Mill, Chhar Toda Kabrastan, Hathikhai, and then to the original route.
6 49, 49/2, 139, 143, 143 Sh., 148, 148/1, 149, 149/1, 150 Up to New Cloth Market Crossroads, Vanijya Bhavan, Anuvrat Circle From Sarangpur to Panchkuva, Kalupur Circle, Kalupur Bridge — via Sharadaben Hospital, turn right from Raipur Mill, through Soneria Block to Rakhial Crossroads, and then to the original route.

AMTS has urged passengers to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the temporary arrangements to ensure smooth traffic flow around the Kankaria area during the event. DeshGujarat
