State Director General of Police (DGP) Vikas Sahay has directed all city and district police chiefs to remain on high alert and strengthen security. As part of the measures, nakabandhi (checkpoints), intensive vehicle checking, and increased police patrolling have been ordered in all districts.
According to the communication issued by the state police headquarters, special emphasis has been placed on entry and exit points of major cities, state borders, and district boundaries, where additional deployment of police personnel has been instructed.
