Ahmedabad: The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport in the city has issued a passenger advisory, asking travelers to report earlier than the usual two hours before their flight departure time. This advisory comes in the wake of a car blast that occurred near the Red Fort in the national capital last night. Following the blast, Gujarat and several other states have been placed on high alert.
In a post on social media, the airport management said, “Passenger screening protocols have been enhanced for departing passengers at Ahmedabad Airport (SVPIA). Passengers are advised to arrive ahead of their scheduled departure and cooperate with security personnel. The safety and security of our passengers and airport personnel remains our utmost priority.” DeshGujarat
