Narmada: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Narmada district for the second time in a short span. After attending the National Unity Day celebrations at Ekta Nagar on October 30 and 31 to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Prime Minister is now expected to visit Dediapada on November 15 to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of tribal icon Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
Preparations in Full Swing for PM’s Visit
Excitement and enthusiasm are visible across Dediapada as the town prepares to welcome the Prime Minister. Government departments and local organizations are working round the clock to ensure smooth arrangements for the event.
As per the schedule, Prime Minister Modi is likely to first visit the Devmogra Mataji Temple, the revered deity of the tribal community, at Devmogra, where he will offer prayers. Following this, he is expected to address a massive public meeting at Dediapada.
To accommodate the anticipated crowd, three large domes capable of holding over one lakh people are being set up. Each dome will have around 35,000 chairs and will be equipped with lighting, fans, air-conditioning, LED screens, and a high-quality sound system. A separate large dome is being constructed at the Dediapada Market Yard to host exhibitions.
Three helipads have been built near the Devmogra Mataji Temple, and an additional set of helipads has been prepared in the field near the INRECA Institute at Timbapada, close to Dediapada. The Prime Minister is expected to land there and travel by road to the public meeting venue near the Government Civil Hospital. DeshGujarat
