Traffic diversions announced in Palsana for PM Modi’s visit to Surat bullet train station

Palsana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Surat bullet train station being built in Antroli village of Palsana taluka on November 15. For this visit, traffic diversions have been implemented on the National Highway and State Highway passing through Palsana taluka.

Here are the details of the traffic diversions:

  • The road from Palsana Char Rasta to Bhatia Check Post towards Hazira will be closed for heavy vehicles. These vehicles can take the alternate route via Raj Hotel in the Kamrej area.

  • The highway from Surat towards Kadodara will be completely closed. Vehicles can instead use the route from Anthem Circle via Valthan Canal to reach Surat.

  • Canal Road near Kadodara CNG Pump, leading towards Surat city via Niyol, will also remain closed. Vehicles can use the road along Chalthan Dindoli Canal as an alternative.

  • The road from Mamadev Mandir near the bullet train station towards Wankaneda village will remain closed. Vehicles can reroute via Vareli to reach Wankaneda.

Signage will be placed across highways to guide drivers along the diversions, ensuring smooth traffic flow. All government offices and officials in Surat district have been put on high alert to prevent any untoward incidents during the Prime Minister’s visit. DeshGujarat
